The week before Halloween I sewed both of the kids costumes together. Gabe was Jake, of the cartoon Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and Barrett was Cubby, from the same show. I used a cartoon drawing to base their costumes off of, no pattern to follow. They're outfits weren't professional looking by any means, but they did turn out pretty cute and were definitely wearable. Gabe was ecstatic and is already planning next year's costumes. So far, he's come up with zombies. He doesn't even know what a zombie is. Some boy in his class talks excitedly about them and that's how he knows of them. I of course immediately vetoed his suggestion and told him to keep on thinking about what he might want to be.
Gabe just before getting on the bus.
That's his best pirate face.
And, a tantrum throwing Cubby.
Waiting to enter Gabe's classroom.
Listening to a Halloween story told by Miss Theresa.
Party snack time.
Gabe was kind enough to share with Barrett.
Bryson there in the riding gear.
Pumpkin neon light in the picture, by request.
Headed to Aunt Kaci and Uncle Charlie's.
Guys! Hey guys!
Save some candy for me!
What is it, Mom?
Chocolate, my child. Here let me keep that "safe" for you.
Visit to Grandma Moore's.
He wants the rooster with the cookies.
Even at the young age of 17 months, he already knows...
...Grandma hides the cookies in the rooster.
Isn't she looking good for 91?
