Final LEGOLAND Post

Our third and final post in the LEGOLAND series. This one is mostly about the hour spent building and racing cars. It was really hard to find enough pieces to build a decent car of racing. Finally, by the end of our time there Casey had scrounged up enough pieces to build Gabe a pretty cool looking car that didn't fall apart at the end of the race.

After LEGOLAND we ate at Fritz's, the place that serves your food by miniature trains. Gabe's choice, of course, and the boys loved it.

Barrett wasn't into waiting for a finished car.

He just threw tires down the track.

He was quite competitive about "winning" each race.

He definitely didn't get that from me.

And, then there's Bear. Mosey-ing along with his little train piece.

I still love how he disappeared behind this tall track to place his "car".

Aww...so precious.

Got himself a newer, beefier race car.

And, it wins again!

He followed every one of his cars down to the finish line.

And, cheered quite loudly about winning.

What a blast he was having.

Here he is counting the gate down.

Three...

Two...

One...

RACE! And, another "WIN"!

So what if he was the only car racing.

Barrett trying to hop the race gate.

He don't need no stinkin' start gate.

This kid was on cloud nine all day.

What a fun time it was. Can't wait to take the boys again and maybe the next time poor Barrett will be big enough for the jungle gym.
