Snow Day!

Finally, after what has seemed like forever winters ago, we received a big enough snow fall to get out and play.

And three of the five of us had confirmed influenza A. If the media can be trusted, the current flu outbreak is in epic proportions. It's a nasty beast for sure, but thankfully we're all in good health otherwise and are recovering well enough to play in the snow.

So, up we bundled and out we went. And a wonderful time was had by all. Gabe asked us to get the mower out to pull the sleds. We laughed and said no. Grami came over later in the afternoon in her polaris general to give the boys a fun little ride.

But, really, she loved the snow.

And, she's growing on me.

We had to force her to sit on the sled.

And, guess what?

She loved it, and asked for more.

I love them.

There's no school tomorrow due to professional development. The cold, and therefore the snow, will be sticking around so I'm sure the kids will get even more hours in it tomorrow. They are not going to want to go back to school Tuesday!
