Halloween 2018

The Smiths squeezed in a ton of Halloween fun this year. Last week we celebrated with our local library as a sheriff, Bumblebee, and Snow White. Yesterday we celebrated as a sheriff, Bumblebee, and cowgirl. Three kids in three schools is for. the. birds. We began parading and partying at 9 am, broke for lunch at 11:15, got back at it at 12:00, and finished at 3:15. Ellie and I were absolutely pooped by the end of the school day. She took a power nap after school and then we took a stroll around the trunk or treat at the city lake. After the lake we picked up our Casey's pizza, and headed home to eat and enjoy a movie together. It was a looooong day for this momma, but the kids sure enjoyed themselves.

Glad to have another Halloween in the books. Miss the days where I could talk them into staying at home for a pizza and a movie and skipping the trick or treating craziness.
