Day two of camping was quiet and laid back. We spent leisure time around the camp fire in warm clothes while the boys played together. Later in the day we drove over to the swimming beach and Nikki and Nana built sandcastles while the boys played in the water. That evening we feasted on hamburgers, hotdogs, fresh yellow watermelon from the Tasker garden, undercooked taters and onions, and fresh zucchini and yellow squash roasted over the fire. Later we roasted marshmallows for s'mores and spent quality time chatting around the fire. Friend talk is good for the soul.
Isaiah, Barrett, and Gabe chilling around the campfire after breakfast.
He's always hollerin' at somebody.
"Smile!" And this is what I get...lol.
My boys like their milk.
Three happy coloring boys.
Ornery. Ornery. Ornery.
Did I mention ornery?
Someone thinks he's going fishing.
Carrying water in for the castle's moat.
And a boat to make rounds on said moat.
Tada! A grand kingdom indeed.
Regal feather flags and all.
Mmm...marshmallows.
And, glow bracelets!
