And there was lots of make your ears bleed kind of screaming. After thirty minutes of a failed bribe of fruit snacks to get him to sit on the potty without screaming I finally gave up on the underwear and put his pull up back on. This, of course, induced more screaming because it turns out he actually did like the underwear and he wanted them back on over his pullups. Fine, demand granted. We shall try again tomorrow.
