Barrett is into EVERYTHING these days.
It's a good thing I have a weakness for my cute children...otherwise things would be pretty ugly around here. Barrett loves to do what he sees everyone else doing. This ranges from brushing teeth to working with tools. He is a busy, busy boy. He's still a climber, still very rough and tumble. His face has finally healed up from the three bruises he earned taking tumbles all in the same week. He has two speeds...not moving and moving fast...nothing in between and his little body often betrays his balance when he's in turbo speed.
He's affectionate when he wants to be and throws massive fits when he doesn't get his way. He still doesn't know a stranger. Shared his sub sandwich with a stranger at a basketball game recently. Definitely going to have to keep a close watch on this guy.
When he smiles he can get away with just about anything. Those big, beautiful chompers are really hard to discipline! Though, speaking of chompers, he definitely gets a swift reprimand for biting. I would say it's been curbed a little over time, but actually it hasn't. He's still just as much a biter as he ever was. The only difference now...he has more teeth and more strength in his bite. Ouch.

Ah, and there's our good buddy Zola. She'd like a lick.
"That's it, Boy...flick that little lever up, pull the door open
and I'll come right in."
Awww...bummer about the door Zola.
"Don't talk to me."
Barrett is a healthy, rambunctious, growing boy. His vocabulary expands a little more each day and so does his desire for independence. This makes for incredibly entertaining and challenging days. So glad to have these days with him.
