The kids did get in some trick or treating though, don't you worry and plenty enough candy to produce a few cavities.
The day before Halloween we went downtown to watch Gabe's school of kids parade up and down Main Street. Aunt Amy went with us too. Ellie slept through it, Barrett begged some candy from a couple of businesses.
Can you see the chocolate remnants?
Bryson in his bumble bee costume.
Nap was cut way short to make the parade.
My "professional" baseball player.
He took paper and a marker to give autographs and everything.
But for "real" Halloween he wanted to be a ninja turtle.
Where's his mask? In a seatback pocket in our van.
Still is as of January 2015.
Little Ellie chilling in Grami and Papa's camper.
Aunt Amy bought her Halloween shirt.
It was the only "costume" she wore.
Halloween may have looked different for our family this year, but it was just as fun! And, Gabe's already planning next year...zombies he says. Negative, I say.
