I think Gabe liked the paper trains strung from the ceiling of the car more than anything else and he probably broke the "stay seated" rule nearly the entire ride. And, then there was the occassional tractor in a field that grabbed his attention.
The ride was a short 25 minutes. They pushed us down the track one way for twelve minutes, stopped to switch the engines and hand out junior engineer certificates, and then pulled us back up the track to the depot.

The day was a fun time had by all. It was noonish and really starting to heat up when we finally got to the car. It was just two minutes down the road before both boys were fast asleep.
The weekend wore out Gabe so much so that yesterday when we got back home he took a four and a half hour nap, and that was after an hour nap on the ride home.
But, I'm not complaining....
...'cause I love me some nap time too!
