Independence Day this year was filled with fun activities. I'll be splitting the day up into a couple of posts. We kicked off the fourth of July celebration with a painting activity. Gabe used twisted pipe cleaners to paint firework bursts. This activity entertained him for a good 30 minutes (which is no small feat when crafting with toddlers) and we framed it so Grami could hang it proudly at work where the colors match her school colors.
Doing a great job making the bursts...
....then suddenly distracted by "dot" painting with his finger.
Proudly showing off his work.
And, the "dot" painting quickly morphed into whole hand painting, which was okay with me.
