When we had seen all there was to see at the Small Animals Zoo we climbed a staircase to the top of one of the buildings and admired the view from a lookout point on the roof. Only six people are allowed at the top at a time, so we had to wait on another family before going up. Casey and Gabe enjoyed an apple and then up we went. Gabe walked all of the stairs by himself. He's getting to be such a big boy.
As we left the museum area to go back to the main road to head home we met the entire herd of buffalo. One stood literally a foot and a half from my window. You'll see that shot in the photos. It was great fun getting to see them up close. The whole day was great fun. I recommend a trip to Woolaroc for any family.
And, now our last photos from our beautiful day at Woolaroc.
Checking out the small animals.
They just look dead. They're actually snoozing.
Waiting on the lookout spot....
....enjoying a juicy apple.
Climb, climb, climb.
Such a big boy.
A photo of the museum.
Bye, everyone!
Number 1.
Really gorgeous.
All together now. "Awwwww!!"
He's saying, "Baby Buffalo".
"ACK!"
That was me, when the buffalo moved a little too close.
Coming up next in my posting....spring break activities at Grami and Papa's house!
