Part 2 Picnic Lunch and a Playground

Today's blog is written by me, Grami.

Following the Pumpkin Patch we drove into Lawrence and stopped at a park near downtown. It had everything we needed. A picnic table in the shade and some awesome play equipment. Luckily the playground was in sight because it was pure bribery that the boys ate their lunch. (As soon as you eat you can go play.) You get the picture. Speaking of pictures... I can't believe I didn't take pictures of lunch but an almost two year old and a three year old along with a good breeze blowing napkins and plates kept three adults very busy. After we convinced the boys that there would be no playing until after lunch they enjoyed sandwiches, fresh vegetables, crackers, bananas, and the all time favorite...watermelon.

And now to answer yesterday's question.

What are you guys looking at?
 Ready for it?

It's B-ryson!!!
Isn't Bryson just the cutest?!

I wish I knew what Gabe was thinking.
Just one problem, while Gabe was deep in thought Bryson was headed to play.

Hey Bryson! Wait up!!

This looked really fun and it was the first thing the boys played on.

A stand up teeter-totter.

Then it was off to the slides.
Ooohh, usually Daddy rides down with me.

Slow and easy all the way down.

Not too slow though because Bryson comes down fast.
Gotta love the tongue that is hanging out.

Pure love and happiness.

Bryson's turn to swing with Great Grandma.

What would make a good day great?
Ice cream, of course!!

Getting sleepy...
Time to shave Mom. (in his dreams)

It was a beautiful day filled with memories and loved ones.

Part 3 Finale Sneak Peek-

Once upon a time...
there was a frog.

  1. Wow! These pictures are awesome. Don't you love it when they tell a nice story? The one of you and Grandma and the boys is so perfect. I can't wait to see part 3!
