Last Saturday, Gabe and I made an emergency trip home with my family who were already here visiting because my aunt fell very ill after complications from a surgery. I just received an update this evening and it looks like she's well on her way to a good recovery. She is still currently in ICU, but if all the tests come out okay, she'll be moving out soon.
Casey drove up on Saturday evening (well, technically Sunday morning around 2 am) after he got off work. We attended the sunrise service at the church I grew up in and then celebrated Easter with dinner and a small egg hunt for Gabe and Bryson (my two year old nephew). It was a very good time and I will hopefully be posting pictures tomorrow of all the fun.
