A Memorial Day Tribute...

If tomorrow all the things were gone

I worked for all my life

I've always appreciated what our men and women in the service have sacrificed. I've never known anyone close that I have lost to a war, but I have plenty of friends who have or are currently fighting for our safety in dangerous foreign countries.

And, I have a son. And, having a child changes everything. I have a son I want to grow up in a loving, nurturing, and free country.

And, I do have that and for that I thank all the men and women who so valiantly gave their lives so I could enjoy my very peaceful life here in America.
