Wait---that's not how it's supposed to go. But, truly, that is all Gabe caught when he went fishing last week.
His grandparents bought him and his cousins each a fishing pole complete with sunglasses, tackle box, and fake fish. Gabe's fake fish was a plastic tire, Abby's was a tiara, and Jacob's was a red fish. They tried to get Abby to fish with a real hook and worm, but she wasn't too excited about the worm and ended up casting the plastic tiara.
Gabe wasn't all that enthused about the fishing part, but he did quite enjoy the pond experience.
